Terms of Service

Agreement

Use of this website is bound by these terms. Material on the site — text, images, layout — is ours unless otherwise noted, and we ask that you don't reproduce it for commercial purposes without permission. Prices and product availability are current as listed but are subject to change; if a price changes between your visit and your order, the price at the moment of order confirmation is the one that applies. We may decline an order or booking at our discretion (refunded in full where money has changed hands). If we send the wrong item, damage occurs in transit, or a service falls short of what was promised, contact us and we'll put it right by repair, replacement, or refund. None of this reduces statutory consumer rights in your country.

01

Bookings and deposits

A date is held once the 30% deposit lands. The remainder is due on delivery of the final gallery. Corporate accounts on monthly invoicing skip the deposit after their first completed job — we know where to find you.

02

On-site headshot days

For headshot sessions at your office we need a space roughly three by four metres near a window, twenty minutes to set up, and about six minutes per person once we start. If your schedule slips on the day, we stay until everyone on the roster has been photographed — overtime only starts after the second extra hour.

03

Weather and rescheduling

Outdoor portraits around Yokohama get one free weather reschedule — we would rather move the date than deliver flat grey light. Personal reschedules are free up to two days before the session; after that we charge half, since short-notice slots rarely refill.

04

Image use and the law

You receive personal-use rights with unlimited prints; commercial packages include marketing use for your own brand. We only show your photographs in our portfolio with written consent — a checkbox on the booking form, never assumed. These terms follow Japanese law, with the Yokohama District Court as the agreed venue for anything a conversation cannot fix.

05

Delivery and revisions

Standard galleries arrive within ten days, headshot days within five. Every package includes one round of re-edits on your selected images — a different crop, a lighter touch on retouching, a colour variant. Additional revision rounds are billed hourly, and we will tell you before the meter starts.

06

Around the studio

The Ishikawacho studio has no dedicated parking, but coin lots sit within a two-minute walk and Ishikawacho Station is around the corner. Sessions run back to back, so arriving more than fifteen minutes late may shorten your slot rather than shift it — call us and we will do our best to rearrange.

07

If something goes wrong

If a technical failure on our side ruins a shoot, we reshoot first and refund only if a reshoot is genuinely impossible. Our total liability is capped at the fee for the affected session. None of this limits the rights Japanese consumer law gives you regardless of what any page of terms says.

08

Prints and physical products

Prints and framed products are produced by our Yokohama lab partner and checked here before shipping. Damaged or misprinted items are replaced free if you tell us within 14 days of arrival — a phone photo of the problem is enough. Correctly produced prints cannot be returned for change of mind, because each one is made for your order alone.

09

Portfolio consent

We only display client photographs — on this site, in the studio window on Ishikawacho, or anywhere else — with written consent collected per shoot, never assumed from silence. Declining changes nothing about your price or priority, and you can withdraw consent later; we remove the images within ten business days.

10

Changes to these terms

We revise these terms occasionally — new services, new law, lessons learned. The version that applies to your booking is the one published on the day you paid your deposit, and material changes are announced on this page two weeks before they bite. Nothing changes retroactively for work already commissioned.
